The Communist Party of China (CPC) is not only the leader and organizer of the Chinese revolution, development, reform and rising, but also the pioneer and leader of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The development of the CPC and the establishment of the socialist modernization of China are inherently and closely related. To understand China's rise, we need to understand the centurial history of the CPC. Aiming to examine the historical process, main achievements and basic experience of the CPC in the past century, the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China has approved the fifth "Marxism and Socialism in the 21st Century" Forum and Global Academic Symposium on "the Centennial Party and China Road" to be jointly hosted by the School of Marxism of Wuhan University, the Hubei Collaborative Innovation Center of Marxist Theory and Practice in China, and the Wuhan University Base of the Overseas Contemporary China Research Center of the Central Party History and Literature Research Institute. In view of your academic contribution in this field, we sincerely invite you to attend the conference and present academic reports.
This conference focuses on the internal connection between the centurial party and the China mode through conducting multidimensional and wide-sighted academic research on the 100-year history of the development of the CPC, re-discovering the history of the CPC's comprehensive leadership and long-term governance experience. This conference is committed to refining the great wisdom of the CPC in promoting modernization, providing good governance, enhancing international contribution.
